Fundraising
There are many ways of contributing to the Bartlett Community Preschool (BCP) in support of our mission. BCP relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations to supplement tuition. BCP offers many ways to make tax-deductible contributions. We welcome cash gifts, gifts in-kind, and business and non profit sponsorships/partnerships. Community support is solicited through the following activities.
Annual Giving
Annual Giving is the yearly fundraising campaign. The funds donated by the community, including current parents, former students and their parents, grandparents and friends of BCP, support the educational programs of every student at BCP every day.
The Fund Raising Events
The Development Committee of the BCP Board of Directors holds fund raising events and families are asked to volunteer time and services to support these events. Your participation is an important way of supporting BCP and our diverse community. The two signature activities are the Autumn Fest and Holiday Wreath Sales.
Snow Cone Concessions: BCP volunteers can be seen at community events selling snow cones and drinks. The commercial grade snow cone machine owned by the preschool is also available for rent.
Gifts In Kind
Gifts in kind are contributions of time, services, or goods to the school. Examples would include services you can render or items you might donate that BCP has identified on a wish list.
Our current wish list includes:
Playground Improvements – playground quality wood chips, and outdoor classroom items
Classroom Improvements – quality building manipulatives, and other preschool appropriate games and toys
Parent Involvement Building a community is a core value of BCP. Family involvement is an integral part of our success. It is through a strong staff-family partnership that we are best able to meet our responsibilities to our children. Working together, we can create extraordinary learning experiences for our children.
Volunteers: BCP functions with the help of a volunteers made up of parents and Board members and volunteer committees. It is through these committees that BCP is able to leverage a wealth of knowledge and creativity, at the same time that parents are able to participate in maintaining BCP as the best early learning environment for their young children. Committees can vary from year to year, depending upon the needs of the school. Examples of the committees are as follows:
- Fund Raising Committee
- Volunteer Committee
- Publicity Committee
