F.A.Q.’s

Here are some of the questions that parents have when considering sending their child to Preschool. If we do not address your question here please feel free to contact us directly with your questions or thoughts.

  • Does my child need to have his/her immunizations?

Children that will be coming to the preschool need to have a current physical with up to date immunizations. Health forms must be returned before your child can enter the
program.

  • Will my child take a nap during the day?

Children that will be staying all day will have a rest time and therefore will need to be sent with a small blanket.

  • Does my child need to be toilet trained?

Yes, children must be toilet trained and independently using the toilet prior to entering the program.

  • How many days a week does my child need to attend?

A minimum of 3 days is required to attend which may include half days and full days.

  • Is there a summer program?

Yes, there is a summer program. It runs for 6 weeks, the same dates as Bartlett Rec’s Bear Camp.

  • How old does my child need to be?

Children that are 3 to 6 that are fully toilet trained may attend.

  • Do I need to pack my child snacks and a lunch?

During the school year an AM, PM snack and lunch is provided for your child. During the summer program an AM and PM snack is provided however parents need to provide lunch, drink and later afternoon snack if staying past 3:30pm.

  • What is the cost for my child to come to the preschool?

Half day is $28.00 (8:00-12:30:00 )         Full day is $33.00 (8:00-3:00)          After Care is $5.00 (3:00-5:00)

  • What time do I have to pick up my child?

Pick up for Half day is 12:30, Full day is 3:00, and After Care is 5:00.

  • Is there transportation to and from the school?

Preschool does not transport children to or from the program. We will transport children on occasional field trips with the help of staff and parent volunteers.

  • Do you follow the SAU 9 schedule?

Yes, we do follow the SAU 9 schedule you can find this calendar at the SAU 9 web site. However, we are open for February and April Breaks.
